Statement of Faith

At Redbud Farm School, we are first and foremost a farm school rooted in Christian principles. We are a non-denominational institution, welcoming families of all backgrounds and beliefs. We celebrate the diversity of family structures, recognizing each family as unique and special.

While our foundation is guided by Christian values, we do not align with any specific denomination. We warmly embrace families from diverse religious backgrounds and uphold the Bible as the ultimate authority shaping our beliefs and practices. Policy and matters of faith are created to ensure a supportive environment for all members of our community. Please note that our Statement of Faith is not exhaustive in detailing our beliefs.

God
We believe that only one God is eternally existent in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30)

Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, and led a sinless life. We believe that Jesus was crucified as a sacrifice for the sins of all people and was resurrected to sit at the right hand of God. He ascended to Heaven but will return to Earth.

The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the one true word of God. It was written by humans but inspired by God. It is infallible and authoritative. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21)

Salvation
We believe that we are all sinners but that God has created each of us with a plan and a purpose that can be fulfilled through salvation. Salvation is a gift from God, freely given to those who accept it. We cannot be saved by good works, but only by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and trusting in God’s sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Resurrection
When we accept salvation and turn from relying on ourselves to trusting in God, we will receive eternal life in Heaven. Those who remain lost will receive eternal life of condemnation. (John 5:28-29)
